Warning to those headed for London:
RMT members at Metronet are on strike. So if you are planning to take the London Underground, forget it!!! Services are not expected to return to normal until Friday.
The strike has shut down nine of the twelve London tube lines. The strike has, thank God, not disrupted bus and taxi service in London. However, with everyone else not able to take the tube, you can expect that a lot of people would also be fighting for a cab or that space in the bus.
Some good news: airport to city express trails are not affected. So, there would be no problem getting to/from the airport. Hopefully, you booked that hotel near your office otherwise, you may have to consider alternative transportation OR walk (in this awful weather).

Just a quick update. The tube strike has been suspended
