Clear members have access to a separate, faster line through security airport checkpoints by using their identity cards containing their biometrics (fingerprint and iris images.
Applicants are pre-screened by the Transportation Security Administration. Approved members pay an annual fee of $99.95.
Security Fast Pass Lanes are now or will soon be available in Albany, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, LaGuardia, Little Rock, New York JFK, Newark, Orlando, Reno and San José. Recently launched were Westchester County Airport (HPN) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Washington Dulles & Reagan, Denver and Atlanta may soon join the program.
ALL Registered Traveler cards will be accepted in ALL these airports.
If you want to join Clear's Verified Identity Pass program, you can enrol online here. Or you can visit any of the five enrollment stations in the Bay Area: two are at SFO, two in SJO and one at Hyatt Embarcadero.
To enrol, you need two government approved identification, your US passport or alien registration number, home address for the past 5 years and current credit card.
