The Wall Street Journal has reported that Lufthansa (FRA:LHA), in partnership with T-Mobile (NYSE:DT), will soon be offering in-flight hi-speed broad band connectivity on their long-haul flights in 2008. This means that travelers will be able to use their laptops to access the internet, receive text messages on their cellphones and send emails using their handheld devices.
Thank God, the service does NOT include in-flight cell phone use.
Now... if only Lufthansa can improve the kind of service their DIN-standard stewardesses give to their customers then, Lufthansa will definitely be the airline of choice for more people.

Lufthansa is my choice when flying abroad! They have great sales on fares that save me a lot! This will just make the flights even better! I think it is a great idea!
