I love my gadgets. But after the honeymoon period with my latest gadget, I often find myself salivating after the new kid on the block. And with the speed of technology’s development, there is always something new out there which, if I follow my heart and not my brain, would leave my finances in shambles.
I keep that gimme gimme instinct in check by taking a quick and realistic look at my budget every time I see something that my heart desires. From time to time, though, I allow myself to get a new toy. Thing is, I have no one to pass on my old one to. And this is obvious when you go inside my office desk (picture to follow).
Unused gadgets in good working condition are gathering dust. But, soon enough, those gadgets will cease its current function as paper weight.
