PayPal is an electronic-payment system owned by eBay Inc. It allows registered users to send and receive payments electronically without disclosing financial information -- credit card or debit card info -- to the payee.
Lately, Paypal has been successful in convincing two airline companies to use their payment system.
Following the footsteps of Northwest Airlines Corp. (NYSE:NWA), Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:LUV) has announced that their customers can also start paying for their ticket purchases electronically via their Paypal accounts.
