Most of us do not really have the time to trawl the net to make sure that we get the best online deal ever. Chances are, those that we do book online are not really the lowest prices available.
Unless we hire a dedicated travel agent who really are concerned about our finances, there is really no way for us to get the upper hand.
Until Yapta, that is.
Yapta stands for, believe it or not, "Your Amazing Personal Travel Assistant". It helps travelers get the best airfare deal available online.
So how does it work?
You have to download the Yapta Tagger first. It will track the flights that you want to take and even the flight that you already bought. And as soon as the price drops, yapta will let you know. Should you already have your ticket and yapta sees a lower price for the same flight, you can get a refund.
And according to Budget Travel Online, "Yapta also tells members when they're entitled to a flight voucher from an airline: It's a little-known rule with some airlines--Alaska, JetBlue, Southwest, United, and US Airways--that a ticket-holding passenger can get a flight voucher if a sale is announced and prices drop below the fare the passenger paid."
I just downloaded the Yapta Tagger. You should do the same.
