Whenever I am scheduled to visit a city that is foreign to me or if I know that I would be taking people out to dinner, I usually check my copy of Zagat which was given to me by an old colleague. Their reviews may be brief in form but they are (imo) comprehensive in scope.
To date, I have yet to be disappointed with any of the choices I made which were based on what I have read from Zagat.
Anyway... I checked their online site one day and found myself answering one of their reviews/surveys. I forgot all about it then. And the other day, I was reminded once again that I answered their survey when I got home and opened my mailbox. Inside was a letter of thanks and a copy of the newest 2007/2008 World's Top Hotels, Resorts and Spas. This new guide had input from 21,783 travelers, including myself.
If you have the time and the inclination, do take the time and answer the survey yourself. Not only will you get a free issue of the survey which you participated in, you will also help Zagat's guide and its readers by giving your honest opinion of certain establishments.
