American Express Says Travel Prices Are Up

American Express' Business Travel Monitor looked further into travel prices and well, we now know what we can expect for the rest of 2007.

American Express (NYSE:AXP) has forecasted the following:

European airfares will increase the most in England and the least in Germany (yay for me!).

increase.jpgIn Latin America, it would do your finances good if you check out the low-cost carriers.  Brazil and Argentina is expected to increase as much as 9 percent. Mexico will face the least increase.

In Asia & the Pacific, airfare increase is expected to stay below 5 percent.  Prices of hotels is expected rise, though.  India will face the highest hotel price increase (as much as 25 percent) whereas Japan will have the least at 2 percent or less.
