I am Ms. MiniBar. I have yet to meet a hotel mini-bar that I have said "no" to. Maybe, it's also because I am not that picky. Any snack and drink will do, especially if it's 1am and I am still working on my laptop for the next day's presentation.
And it looks a lot like I need to look for a client in Miami soon so I can stay at the Catalina Hotel and Beach Club and check out their Mini-Bar Theme Packages, called Pimp Your Fridge.
I think I'll be wanting to try the Sweet Tooth and the Munchie Mania mini-bars.
"Sweet Tooth mini-bar has chocolate goodies...
The Munchie Mania mini-bar runs sweet to salty, with Cheetos and cheesecake."
Althoug, methinks $50 is a bit over the top. Maybe. I guess I would have to check out the contents and calculate the probable total cost. Then, maybe it would be ok. This, from someone who once paid 70++ US$ for a hotel mini-bar cost at Langham in Boston.
