If you plan on renting a car on your next trip, you might want to consider Avis for the extra service that is available to its customers.
Avis Rent-A-Car of Avis Budget Group Inc. (NYSE:CAR) lets you connect to the internet. FreedomLinkSM WiFi service is available at several Avis airport locations. These Avis business centers allows you to connect online in private and even lets you use the telephone, fax and copy machines.
As exepected, the above features does not come for free. FreedomLink memberships which gives you unlimited access to all FreedomLink hotspots are priced at $19.95 per month. However, if you are not willing to pay a monthly fee and/or do not have future plans of renting from Avis on your next trip, you can also buy a day membership for a walk-up access for $7.95.
Yup, it's convenient but it's not really a great bargain. Should you have time, check out the surroundings and look for free or cheaper WiFI connection before you do use this service.
