It was announced that Apple had an agreement with six major airlines (Air France, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates and KLM) to integrate iPODs in their planes by mid-2007. iPOD-ready planes mean that travelers will soon be able to re-charge their iPODs or watched their movies on the seat's back displays.
Interestingly, Apple's claim was denied by Air France.
Even more interesting is the news that Thales and Etihad have been offering iPOD capabilites for 7 months.
Is it because Apple do not consider a tie-up with Etihad not news worthy? Does anyone know the reason behind the lack of noise regarding Etihad's new service?
