
New Year. New Start. New Goals.
It's the best time to think of what we have accomplished in life. It's also the perfect moment when we can start to think of what else we want to do in our lives.
So... for my business travels in 2007, I am aim to:
- Take the time to figure out if paying is better than using my miles or vice versa for all my travel needs.
- Learn to choose my battles. Battles = business trip. After all, technology is making it easier for us to hold virtual meetings.
- Bring less than required -- whether clothes, shoes and/or gadget.
- Start talking to other travelers who strike up a conversation with me during waiting periods.
- Help my office save money
- Avoid (as much as possible) minibar purchases
- Prepare in advance so I can see more of the city/country I am visiting
- Stay home and not travel on weekends
