I am supposed to reveal here Five Things Most People Don't Know About Me. It's an interesting meme which I will answer and just categorize as additional information under Road Gladiator's Author Profile. 

Here are some information you might be interested (or not...) to know:

1. I am allergic to anything with alcohol... ironic that my last expatriate assignment is now in Germany, the land of Beer.  My colleagues often shake their heads whenever they see me nurse my Coke while we hang out at the hotel bar.
2. I transferred to another company as soon as the department head (my direct boss) showed serious romantic interest in me.  Mr. Department Head and I have been married for 6 years now.  He's the reason why I have stayed longer than planned in this country.
   
3. Whenever I have problems to solve and need to take a closer look at my spreadsheets, computations and/or formulas, I have to alienate myself from the rest of the world via my iPOD... loud music in my ears help me drown out the voices of other people talking and strangely lets me concentrate.
4. During my younger years, I was on one shampoo commercial (as the star's bestfriend) and my face was shown every weekday at the start of "Student Canteen", a noon-time variety show in Asia.
5. I love outdoor sports.  I used to be a mountaineer. I have a PADI advance openwater dive certificate. I have bungee jumped once. I am an avid snowboarder and mountain biker.
