Can't afford to check into that nice hotel which offers free WiFi?
You can check-in at the cheaper hotel next door. If they don't have free WiFi, just ask for a room at the end of the hotel nearest its pricier neighbor and piggy-back on their free wifi.
I have never done this although, I cannot say that I am above piggybacking on someone else's WiFi access if (a) desperate and (b) given the opportunity.
What about you? Would you be as immoral? hehe

Confession -- I've done this. The signal strength was low, but since access was entirely out in the hotel that I was in, I made do. I'm not sure if that's really appropriate justification or not, though.
