
I booked my tickets directly with KLM.
I then called Customer Service to reserve a bassinet. Thanks to SeatGuru, I immediately found out that the lady at the other end of the line was giving me a seat without any possibility of having a bassinet. The same disastrous incident back in 2004 onboard KLM (with me refusing to sit and asking for the purser) would have been replayed.
I kinda thought that I would have qualified for having mobility limitations. Hmmm... couldn't they have assisted me the way Lufthansa did?
I know... why oh why did I book KLM?! Long story...
Anyway, above experience really makes me long for the comforts of traveling alone, on business class.
