You need keep your account active at least once in 18 months otherwise, your Dividend Miles will expire. You have until the 31st of January, 2007 to activate your account and keep the miles you have previously earned.
You can earn more miles by buying a plane ticket or use any of US Airways' program partners.Should you fail to use your account for 36 months, it will be closed.
You also have the option of having your account reinstated by paying a $50 processing fee plus, a reactivation fee of a penny a mile.
I guess, it is best to redeem your miles before they expire (should you have no plans of earning more). Problem is, we're headed towards many blackout dates due to the holidays.
