Unfortunately for some passengers, upgrades in airline seats are mostly concentrated in the first and business classes. Except for some, poor economy class seats remain the same. What's worse is that some are actually even thinking of making it even worse than it already is.
Having said that...Half the time, I fly cattle class. And you know what I hate the most? I hate it when passengers recline their seats all the way back (which results in less legroom for the person at the back) BUT then when you look at them, they are leaning forward in their seats. WHY?!?
As it is, economy seats are already uncomfortable. To think, I am only 5'2" tall short. I can barely imagine how it is for tall people. And when the above situation happens, I really think that that is the time when it is fair to lock your seats.
