ALL of Embassy Suites Hotels' 182 hotels are now equipped with self-service registration kiosks. Guests of the Hilton Hotels Corp. (Public, NYSE:HLT) brand can now choose their suites and receive their room key via the touch screen kiosks. And when it is time to check out, guests can print out the bill, check-in for their flight (18 US airlines) and get a boarding pass at the kiosk.
Call me old-fashioned but I still prefer seeing a face and talking to a person when I check in and out of a hotel. Of course, if I would be in a hurry, I'd probably heave a sigh of relief if a self-service registration kiosk would be available.
Let the check-in convenience war begin!
