There is no way in this world that I will ever consider to check in my laptop. If and when I will not be allowed to carry it with me, I will leave mine home, have my files backed-up on a USB stick and online and get myself a laptop when I get to my destination.
Had I scheduled a meeting during that time, I would have been forced to go to a hotel business center. A nightmare I'd rather not deal with.
5 Reasons Why I'd Rather Not Use the Hotel's Computer:
I heard that most have programs (some, even hardware) that date back during the Jurassic era. Imagine how frustrating it could be!
- I am used to QWERTZ keyboard and QWERTY would definitely make my work longer, with the constant use of backspace to correct all my mistakes.
- The Price!
- Understandably, the hotel business center would not be filled with as many computers as internet cafés. Imagine the queu if everyone else didn't bring their laptop?!
- I prefer to work at night in my pajamas, whilst I raid the mini bar.
