The updated passenger guide is effective from today. The major changes are:
- Travelers may now carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZE, clear plastic, zip-top bag.
- After clearing security, travelers can now bring beverages and other items purchased in the secure boarding area on-board aircraft.
This zip-top bag of liquids will have be x-rayed. Items which are allowed to be brought in bigger amounts -- like liquid medications and baby formula -- should be declared upon check-in. This new guideline is implemented in all domestic and international flights leaving US soil.
