Information Rings, when put close to each other (as what happens when both wearers shake hands), exchanges stored information. You could put your name, company name and contact details.
So, instead of exchanging business cards, all you'd need is to shake hands. At least, that is what Hideaki Matsui conceptualized.
Useful for, they say, business travelers who attend trade shows. Perhaps.
Personally, I'd rather exchange business cards. In the present world we live in, I prefer to choose who I can give information to. Imagine being introduced to someone you'd rather not give your contact details to? What should you say? "Oh sorry, I don't want to shake your hand"?
What about YOU? Would you use this, if it ever goes into production?
