 No-frills airlines used to get all the attention. But with the recent terror threat on airline travel, all-frills airlines are now in the forefront of travel, especially business travel. Two weeks ago, premium business airlines have reported an increase in sales and/or bookings: EOS reported a 32% increase in bookings. Maxjet, on the other hand, has seen an average increase of 30%. Nice to have options, especially if you really do need to travel during times like these. |
Tim, smaller airlines like MAXjet and Eos were not targeted by terrorists.
Also, these two airlines fly into London-Stansted. Business travelers realize it is faster to clear customs there and catch the 45-min train ride to downtown than it is to wait in line for 2 hours at Heathrow.

Oh...I misread the statement.
I thought she meant that the all-frills airlines are in the forefront like no frills were in terms of popularity. Not media attention.
