Oasis Hong Kong Airlines, the first low fare/long-haul passenger airline, has started taking in reservations for its non-stop service from Hong Kong to London-Gatwick.  The first flight will commence from October 2006 onwards. Priced at around HK$1,000 (approx. US$129!) per way, booking offices will definitely be busy.

For business travelers, businessOasis fares start from (ready?) HK$6,600 one way.  You know how much that is in US$?!  It would be around 850US$!!! 

What can business travelers expect from a long-haul flight that costs so little?
  • 60" seat pitch
  • 2 complimentary hot meals (Western or Asian)
  • complimentary tea, coffee, water, soda, snacks and alcohol
  • personal seat-back TV with up to 16 video entertainment channels
A great option, especially for start-up companies in Europe and Hong Kong who need to do business abroad.
