
Vegetarians subsist on a diet composed primarily of vegetables, grains, fruits and nuts. A diet that does not include meat and fish.
I have not met one yet but there sure are vegetarian business travelers out there. And it sure is not that easy to find meals that cater to vegans. Sure, there are meals that consist of vegetables but most are mixed in with meat and/fish. What to do?!

With the number of people who are trying out vegetarianism nowadays, it may not be as hard after all.

This can be tricky if you are going on a trip to a foreign country. Even in Japan, eating purely vegetarian can be quite difficult as I found out when I traveled with one a few months back.
Most restaurants have fish and if not, then most everything had some sort of meat in it. And unless you go to a specialty chain sitdown place, at least in Tokyo, many places are specialty restaurants so...good luck finding purely vegetarian dishes.
Maybe I just didn't know where to look but I certainly had a hard time. Thankfully he at sushi so that was the one thing that got us through it all.
