Loyalty memberships and mileage points used to be enough to keep me from worrying about air travel comfort and long lines at the airport. Those two made me feel like there was a cocoon that protects me from all those usual air travel woes.
With the recent new air terror threats, we are all -- elite mileage status holders or not -- faced with new rules and FEARS.
Air travel is way too inconvenient now.
However, I'd rather be inconvenienced (with new restrictions, long lines and extra security checks) than die.
