With the news of new terrorist threats, many have opted to cancel or postpone their business travel plans. It's better to err on the side of caution, imho.
Besides, people all over the world know the new security threat. Most of those abroad would probably understand your decision to cancel or postpone the next face-to-face meeting.
Plus, with the technology that is available to us today, business would not really suffer. There are still ways to go on with the meeting, without having to risk flying when there is a threat of passenger planes being blown up.
You and your business partner abroad can, either use VoIP like Gizmo and Skype or you can arrange a video conference.
What about YOU? Would you still travel, say, next week?!
