I am one of those who would rather err on the side of caution. So do most of my colleagues and partners who have cancelled/postponed travel plans after the recent terrorist threat.
Of course, not everyone has put their air travel on hold. Some, like Rob of the Airline Hub, are not postponing their travels.
In the wake of the 9/11 disaster, demand for air travel slumped. It caused the collapse of several airlines. But, slowly, people who were wary of air travel did travel again.
After what happened last week, air travel will witness another slump but people would later go back to travelling again. Let's just hope that (this time) since we were spared from any deaths, recovery would be faster.
