From the same guys who came up with that oh-so-useful Mobile Desk with Laptop Bag, here's yet another gadget to help business travellers be even more productive.
Introducing the Auto Exec Desk...
You can strap it into the passenger seat and it will provide you with a stable, skid-free surface for your laptop. There are even slots where you can put your files and other gadgets.
As advised by the makers, it should NOT be used while driving.
Much as I love the look of this gadget, I am vacillating on whether I would recommend this or not. Thing is, if I have to work AND I need to stop driving in order to do that, I would definitely NOT stay in the car to do this since: (1) I need to twist my upper body in order to reach the laptop; (2) It would either be too hot or too cold to work in the car for a long time.
My head tells me that if I need to work and I could stop driving, I would probably decide to stop at a cafe or a restaurant so I could work comfortably.
What do YOU think? Would you use this?

The gadget does look pretty, but I think it's taking the idea of multi-tasking to the extreme. I myself would rather work where I am more comfortable, and it is definitely not inside a car.
