Business travellers doubling as parents to young and impressionable football fans, listen up. You may be in Germany for business but, hey, you can make your child happy by bringing a souvenir back to your child. A football fan item would be best, of course.
If your country competed (or is still competing) in the World Cup, you might want to get jerseys, flags, balls and what-have-yous that are being sold all over the country.
You can also bring home Goleo, the official Mascot for World Cup 2006.
As crappy as this mascot may be, it still is "the" official mascot. hehe
Last I heard, people have been complaining about how irrelevant the chosen mascot is. An eagle would have been more approprite. I've also heard about people complaining about the lion's lack of shorts. hahaha.
Should you decide to bring this home, just think... you may make your child happy with a piece of world cup history. Or, you can help boost the Goleo company a bit. Although, we do not even more travellers to buy them before the company can get itself out of bankruptcy.
