He asked, "a colleague of mine told me that I should make sure that my airport transfers are booked in advance because I need to be at a certain place at a certain time. I did try to do that by phone but I was stuck when asked which airport? Help!"
Here is what I found...
There are two airports serving International flights in Moscow: Sheremetyevo 2 and Domodedovo airports.
Sheremetyevo 2 is in the northern part of Moscow and serves all major international airlines, except for Swiss Air and British Airways which land in Domodedovo.
For airport transfers (from both airports), you can book at waytorussia.
Goodluck and do let me know how everything turned out upon your return.

More airlines than Swiss and British Airways use Domededovo (airport code DME). Best thing is to check with the airline who operates your flight which airport they use.
