I know, I know, tax payment was due mid of last month. However, for those who live outside the US, it is not due until next month; and for those who have filed extensions, it is not due until August.
Some of us, unfortunately, need to pay a lot (relatively). If so, we cannot do anything about it. We can, however, try and look at the bright side. At least, we could earn some miles from it, if we use our credit cards -- American Express, Master, Visa or Discovery cards.
That's 1 mile for every dollar we pay for tax to the IRS.
For those who have yet to do this before, note that a "convenience fee" is charged. And do make sure that you have enough in your card to cover your tax payment, otherwise, you will get late-payment penalty charges.

Hey, that's a good idea! I have a friend who pays ALL her bills with a credit card to rack up airline miles. I never thought of paying my taxes as paying a bill before (and it's a big one!)
