
A colleague of mine was recently in Barcelona. He gushed about eating Monk fish and sardines during a business dinner. His counterpart at the Spanish office had advised him to use his hands. The problem, he found out the next morning while preparing for his presentation, was that his hands still smelled like fish the next day. The poor guy didn’t know what to do and it distracted him a bit that day. Thank God, there were no other repercussions.
What could he have done?
All cooking tips suggest rubbing your hands with lemon juice and after, wash with warm soap and water. That should do the trick.
If lemon is not available, you can sprinkle your hands with salt and then, rinse.
