The world wide web has made it possible for us to shop around online. Aggreggators, handly tools that pack a lot of travel search engine, is one example of what we could use online to make shopping around even easier.
The problem is, the prices that we sometimes see online isn't exactly the exact amount we should expect to pay in the end. There are "hidden charges" which varies from one site to another; and which will only be known to users later, making it more difficult to compare REAL COSTS.
To date, only the Marriot, Hilton and InterContinental are offering prices with the taxes, surcharges and/or fees factored in. Hopefully, all the other hotels will soon do the same.
Recently launched, though, is the hotel search engine called Search Party.
What makes it different from all the other aggregators?
Well, Search Party can help you better when it comes to comparing the total cost because, unlike other sites, it factors in fees and cancellation policies at up to 8 websites, including Orbitz, InterContinental Hotels Group, OneTravel.com and Lodging.com.
Search Party also offers a downloadable desktop tool that allows you to search Search Party's results and compare it with your Travelocity or Expedia shopping carts.
Nifty, isn't it?
