
Cost for British Airway long-haul flight tickets bought from April 21 will reflect the increase in fuel surcharge due to the rise in fuel price.
"The longhaul fuel surcharge on tickets sold and issued in the UK will increase from £30 per sector to £35 per sector (£70 return trip). The shorthaul fuel surcharge will remain unchanged at £8 per sector (£16 a return trip)."
In comparison, RyanAir has decided NOT to impose extra fuel charges on passengers to keep the prices low.
An unfair comparison, actually, since BA's increase is on long-haul flights, not on short-haul flights.
