With more and more women travellers, it is not surprising that the travel industry has been taking the necessary steps to fit women's needs in the equation.
The recent announcement of Jet Blue's partnership with Bliss, one of New York's hottest spa, to give passengers an extra ahhh through their amenity kits just proves that more and more have followed suit. With more, I assume, to join the fray.
Airline Amenity Kits is one of the best examples of the industry's attention to women's needs.
Emirates' business class kit includes Clarins Invigorating Fragrance, scent for women as opposed to Unisex perfumes offered by other airlines. The only other airlines which considered the specific needs of female travellers are Qantas Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines and Lufthansa. All 4 (incl. Emirates) have first class amenity kits for women. Other airlines only have male-oriented items.
I am a woman who constantly travels and I sure would prefer to book flights and hotels where my needs are being considered. Not that I need special treatment but I do value the intangible AND tangible benefits that are made available to me (and other women travellers).
