It's Labor Day Weekend and I (along with my husband and son) will spend it in Freiburg, the capital of the Black Forest in Germany and in Strasbourg, France. Both places are just a 2-hour drive from my current residence, Frankfurt but hey, it still would be a welcome treat for me considering that I have spent a part of last week holed up in a conference room in Munich and most of this week in Brussels.
Anyway, this mini weekend getaway will not cost us much since I am redeeming my miles for non-airline rewards. Lucky? Not really. My family and I deserve this little "reward" after several days of separation due to my work.
We will be spending one night at Dorint Novotel Freiburg am Konzerthaus and one night at the Sofitel Strasbourg. Both of which are courtesy of Air France's Flying Blue Loyalty Program.
What about YOU? Where do you use the miles you earned?
