Time is money. And for some business travellers, there are moments when time is something that they cannot afford to "waste" doing mundane tasks which someone else could definitely do for them.
If your office cannot spare a secretary to go with you abroad or out of state, then it could prove economical to hire someone else to be temporarily at your beck and call while you spend your much-needed time negotiating with a client.
You can hire a Personal Concierge.
It's a lot like having a personal assistant/butler with you. From doing secretarial or clerical work to running errands, they will handle things for you.
And according to Bella Online, "Errand Services" and "Professional Organisers" should be offering the same kind of service.

Personally, the closest I have come to having a Personal Concierge is when I checked in at the Pan Pacific in Manila. The hotel's service included a team of educated staff serving as butlers; who were available whenever they were needed.
Hotels like Pan Pacific are, unfortunately for some business travellers, more the exception than the rule. The rise of Personal Concierge services should solve that problem for some.
