Another way to earn travel rewards is to earn points using your credit card.
These programs offer premium points whenever you use their card to buy airline tickets from them. Premium points could mean 2 points for every dollar spent.
All the points earned will, of course, be automatically counted into the frequent flyer program. So, that means more points for every mileage you fly.
You will double your earning capacity if you sign-up with a credit card offered by major airline companies like Northwest Visa, Lufthansa Miles & More Visa, Blue Sky American Express and British Airways Visa, among others.
In addition, for retail purchases using your airline issued credit card, you get regular bonus point (ca. 1 point) for every dollar you spend.
That kind of reward system should make earning travel rewards faster.
Now, which airline company issued credit card should you sign-up with? It is always best to shop around. Compare what each airline has to offer. Consider the number of points earned, rewards available and the fees that need to be paid. If you are the owner of a small business, this could cut your travel cost a lot. For the employed business travelers, this could mean yet another free vacation for you.
Which airline company issued credit card would you consider?
