"The Businessperson"
Ingredients: And what do you get with this potent recipe? AIR RAGE!
- 1 businessman or woman
- Large amount of stress
- Very short fuse
- Abundance of alcohol
Method:
- Instil feelings of self-importance (created by excessive waiting-on, and serving every whim.)
- Increase pressure and stress, whilst reducing control.
- Stir up thoroughly until an explosion occurs.
(For extra strength, add a four-hour delay).
Air rage is the term used for disruptive behaviour inflicted by passengers and sometimes even crew during a flight. More often than not, we associate this type of psychological changes to alcohol use before or during the flight. That could be the case. But, did you know that psychological changes could also happen to someone who is feeling anxious and stressed? And, after a long meeting, waiting in lines and sitting through delays, air rage may ensue.
So, how do you avoid this from happening to you?
Don't let your anger or anxiety control you.

One thing I like to do (please don't say it's weird) is to leaf through the posh catalog they have with all the incredibly expensive and often inexpicable items.
An electronic pants steamer? For $300?
Cast-iron Scrabble pieces for $30? Each!?
So that's how I get a good laugh and relax on a long flight.
Nice post.
